Watch the Day Break Over the Boneyard

Cape Romain is closed from dusk to dawn, and no camping is allowed on refuge islands.  This means that very few people get the opportunity to witness the sunrise on the Boneyard Beach of Bulls Island.  Having seen it ourselves, we know that this is a rare and special moment, standing on a pristine shoreline within a National Wildlife Refuge.

We've timed this tour with a low tide a sunrise so that you have all of Boneyard Beach to photograph as the sun peaks over the horizon.  Limited to 16 participants, this tour will book out early.

This photography adventure is suitable for amateurs and professionals.  It is a guide and client favorite (and we don't offer it often).

But don't take our word on it...see for yourself.

BIRDERS:
This trip is an excellent opportunity to see some of the birds that frequent Bulls Island!  The departure point at Boneyard Beach is adjacent to the largest freshwater impoundment on the island, Jacks Creek.  All of our captains frequently bird the island and can give you up-to-date information about the recent sightings on the island.  This winter, rare sightings of Scissor-tailed Flycatcher and Townsend's Warbler have been in this area of the island.  Add in all the waterfowl, shorebirds, waders, raptors, migrants and other birds and you have a world-class experience!
